スモールサイズでありながら、水面を鮮やかに滑走するダイナミックなスライド＆ターン。DOG-Xオリジナルからの伝統である、生命感あふれるV字波紋。ドッグウォーク時には、ボディがヒラ打ちしながら身をひるがえし、水面下にアピール。この時ヘッドは、水中にやや没しながら、水面から身を乗り出すようなポップアクションを演出しています。このサイズでは信じられない程、よく飛び、よく動くペンシルベイドです。クリアレイクなどの炎天下の日中、桟橋の下、ブッシュの奥などの遮光物ストラクチャーのシェイド射ちで驚異的な威力を発揮。このプラグフォームが生み出す静かな着水音と、ピンスポットでもわずかなロッドワークに呼応する生命感あふれるトリックアクションは、従来ノーシンカーワームで獲っていた魚を高確率で反応させています。
DOG-X Jr. is not simply a downsized version of our original DOG-X. It is certainly a bit smaller than DOG-X as the name indicates, but it is equipped with a new lengthwise moving balancer as well as the now familiar SIDE-STEPPING MOVING BALANCER (PAT.) of the original DOG-X. This new balancer pushes the bait while walking, so that the roll-walk action of DOG-X Jr. is sharper and more dynamic for its size. The point is that smaller bait does not have to suffer from a smaller action. The action of DOG-X Jr. will remind you of the baitfish chased by a predator, frantically ripping and skipping the water surface. Also, you will find out that casting and retrieving DOG-X Jr. with F1 or F2 class Destroyer bait rods is extremely enjoyable due to their high compatibility. 従来の左右方向の慣性に加え、前後方向への慣性動をプラス。左右にスライドしたところで前方向に大きく押し出すため、スライド量が飛躍的に増大。スモールペンシルらしからぬスーパーアピール・パニックアクションを実現。なお、尾部の２つのウエイトブース間には、アクション時に２つのウエイトボールの頂点をヒットさせる穴をあけ、緻密なクリックサウンドを発生させる設計です。
