KIRISAME COMPETITION is an extreme finesse model developed for the ultra-tough tournaments of Japan. The solid tip, made with Megabass' latest construction method, is sensitive to the most delicate bites, enabling ultra-precise rod work and improved hookup ratios. From the tip, the blank seamlessly transitions to finish with a high-torque butt section that delivers F2 level power. Integrating these disparate elements into a single shaft, X10 enables a truly unique angling experience. This is a finesse spinning model that takes pride in bringing the subtle details of no-sinker rigs, neko rigs, dropshots and small plugs to brilliant life.

自然素材から採取されたセルロースミクロフィブリルを骨格とするオーガニック繊維を特殊加工、主軸素材として構成した世界初のバスロッドブランクス。このオーガニックファイバー「X10」による極めて優れた高い制振性能は、軸ブレを抑え、キャスト後にピシャリと止まり、ロッドワーク時にはラグを発生させない特性を発揮。高い操作性を生み出します。
さらに、オーガニックファイバー「X10」は、外部からの衝撃吸収性が高く、ロッドの保護性能を向上化。その上、従来カーボン素材ブランクよりも軽量化を実現。
天然由来成分、自然素材をロッドマテリアルとして高純度で使用しているため、ロッド製造時において、炭素の使用量と排出量を大幅に削減化しています。
Derived from cellulose microfibrils extracted from flax, X10 material outperforms conventional carbon fiber in several key aspects, while significantly reducing C02 emissions. Firstly, the superior vibration control of X10 organic fiber suppresses the blank's axial shake, reducing extraneous “noise” to channel key information to the angler’s hands. Secondly, X10 is highly shock-absorbent, adding a protective layer to shield the blank’s carbon fiber core from external stressors. Lastly, the incorporation of renewable, organic fibers reduces the carbon footprint of each rod, delivering on the promise of performance while taking another step towards better stewardship of our angling environment.
