The MIYAKODA SPECIAL is a high-spec spinning rod forged on the demanding waters of Miyakoda River Dam near the Megabass headquarters. Known for its dense standing timber and complex rock formations, this tough reservoir has long served as a proving ground for many iconic Megabass designs.
The MIYAKODA excels at threading rigs through tight gaps in gnarly cover, delivering natural free rig and small rubber jig falls, discerning subtle bite signals and converting them into decisive hooksets, and hauling fish clear of cover. Enabling repeated, pinpoint approaches to targets holding at multiple depth ranges, the responsive tip is built to detect and capture tough fall-bites with confidence.
The high-tension midsection maintains excellent hookset performance even on deep-range bites, while the rod’s torque-rich power brings aggressive finesse cover games to life.
