First, let us explain what kind of MOVING BALANCERS are used for DEEP-X series. There are by now several different MOVING BALANCERS employed for our baits, with each system designed to achieve a different purpose. In the case of DEEP-X, there are three positions the balancer can move into. First, when casting it moves to the tail position, achieving better castability, Second, as soon as DEEP-X hits the water, the balancer moves into the front position, ready to dive at a steep angle. Third, upon reaching the optimum depth, the balancer now moves to the mid position, ready to move sideways. And DEEP-X will start to swim horizontally. If you are after suspending fish, twitch and pause might be effective now. Finally, when DEEP-X is ready to come to the surface, the balancer moves back to the tail position, making it easier and faster. While most of crankbaits are fat and shapeless, DEEP-X200T is rather compact and well-defined. But it dives up to 15 feet. |
